The Encounters Pages

In the decades since recording "The Legend," author Steve Cook has collected over 100 sighting reports from a variety of sources. Many of these claims were supported with startling physical evidence, including photographs and film. Some were easily dismissed as mistaken identity or hoaxes. Yet a select group simply defies rational explanation.

Each of the encounters reports listed here have been confirmed, independently corroborated, or remain open to additional investigation. One thing is certain: The people who provided these accounts believe they saw something extraordinary. They have nothing to gain - and much to lose - by making the claims they have made. Some have requested anonymity, and we will respect those wishes.
