Some changes in our schedule have opened up another date for a visit to one of our favorite Northern Michigan communities. We’ll be joining dogman novelist Frank Holes in Lake City on Friday, July 3rd. You’ll find us at the craft show sharing a tent and table. If you’re a dogman fan, this is the only stop we’ll be making in Missaukee County this year – so stop out to say hello!
Remember that we’ll also be sharing space with Frank at the National Cherry Festival Craft Fair in Traverse City on July 5th. We had a great time last year, and look forward to more of the same in 2009.
Godspeed,
Steve

Autographing a CD/DVD set for a fan
It’s one of Michigan’s most oddly-named festivals – but they sure know how to throw a party!
On June 27th, for the second year in a row, we were invited to the Irons Flea Roast and Ox Market in Irons, Michigan. As they always do, the good folks of Lake County offered us outstanding hospitality. We were given a big table right in the center of the event, where we greeted fans throughout the afternoon. At 6pm, I took the stage in the sound pavilion and performed the song live for several hundred fans. I actually remembered all the words this time!
Special thanks to my lovely wife Pamela, who helped keep order when things got crazy. Also to Loretta Wierenga, Smokey in the Tower, and Jay the Sound Man for helping make this a very enjoyable day, and to the many fans who stood in line, and had such kind words and delightful stories to share.

After the performance, fans lined up to purchase copies of "The Legend" Legacy Edition
We hope to see you at an event this summer!
Godspeed,
Steve
