Here’s the History Channel synopsis:

MonsterQuest heads into the dark, isolated forests of the Midwest to search for this creature and analyzes the evidence to finally end this mystery.”
Get ready for some big surprises!

Investigation Just Concluded 3-7-2010…”Bray Road Dogman” Elkhorn, WI
My researchers and I had just concluded a two day study of Bray Road and the supposed “Dogman” sightings. Here is some very condensed research information and notes:
1. Bray Road is exactly 4 miles long and is a road used by local residents who have farms/homes on this stretch of road. It also could be used as a shortcut between two larger rural highways.
2. Assuming the sightings are real, it is not hard to believe that an five to eight foot, upright, bipedal creature is spotted with frequency by witnesses who claim to be “drive-bys” and not hunters, researchers or “Dogman” trackers, for the simple reason; the immediate area is agrarian/rural farmland. It is NOT a continuous dense track of forest as in the case of Northern California and/or British Columbia sightings of “Bigfoot”. In order for a creature to move from one forested area to another, it must traverse long tracks of barren agricultural fields.
The area is not hilly or mountainous and urban sprawl is at the areas “doorstep” with heavy automobile traffic traveling the highways in the immediate area.
3. Researchers, with numerous years and miles of experience traveling in rural areas, notice a OVERWHELMING pungent ammonia odor emanating about the halfway point of Bray Road. This researcher can attest that in 43 years of driving through and working on farms and farmland, I have never smelled such an odor with the magnitude to overwhelm a vehicle, making it almost unbearable for the motorists. I would assume that the urine emanates from horses, due to the fact of four horse stables on the stretch of road, but again, I have never experienced such an overpowering odor. (It is common for witnesses encountering “bigfoot” to describe an overwhelming odor, however most witnesses describe the odor as: rotting eggs, a musky, wet animal and/or extreme human body odor, not urine/ammonia)
OTHER NOTES:
It is somewhat difficult to understand how a small number of large bipedal creatures could subsist in such a populated rural area. However it is possible that they are nomadic and nocturnal, which might be the reason how they could sustain reproduction and survival in such a populated rural area.
However, it is also hard to dismiss the claims of so many eyewitnesses, who have similar stories that lack vagueness or detail. It is also difficult to comprehend that life-long rural residents could consistently mistake a bear, horse or domestic canine for this creature, which is bipedal, has claws, and a tail, elongated canine incisors and is at least five feet to eight feet tall.

Oh boy….here we go! I don’t think Monster Quest has ever found anything in any of their expeditions.

The ammonia odor aspect needs further investigation. Interesting indeed. The final thought, what are people seeing? Is there mass hysteria in operation here or are people observing a real in the flesh being?
I would opt for the latter. It makes no sense to bring scrutiny and ridicule upon oneself reporting these dogman incidents and sightings unless one is a masochist and enjoys physical and mental pain. The issue is a mystery and mankind knows little about it’s place in the “Universe” or it’s “Physics”. Maybe we have a “Parallel Universe” situation in effect here and a physical, living, breathing entity is occupying our space for a time, then fading back into it’s own reality. What do you think? How about bad science done in the behest of government or the military. This phenomena is nation wide and cannot be dismissed out of hand. It will all play out in time. If physical evidence were obtained that would go a long way validating the what of these occurences. I’ve only seen two UFO’s in my lifetime. One a small white light that was seen traveling east on the old route 66 making straight line movements over the horizion 10 miles ahead. The distance and speed of the movements eliminated any known aircraft of this world. It was 10.00 p.m. at night. The distance and time involved were too fast and far away. Interestingly enough, Area 51 was northeast of Kingman Arizona where I was driving away from going east, about 40 miles away. Can anyone dismiss what I saw? Not a chance. I saw what I saw. What it was I’am not completely sure of. This happened in the early 70’s. In the early 2000’s I observed a flaming metallic object, orange and white in color with flames emanating from its back entering my line of vision as I lay in bed. it was around 8.00 p.m. in the summer and the object was coming over the nearby mountain crest in a northeasterly direction. It, the object was as clear as day. I then heard a sonic boom and the object was nolonger unidentified. It was the space shuttle landing at Vandenberg Airforce base in the nearby California desert. This sighting was made from Sylmar California in the San Fernando Valley northeast of downtown Los Angeles. One object identified, one not. That’s way it will unfold with the Dogman mystery. I find it ironic and disturbing that State government is not too involved in this ungoing and unfolding situation or are they? I take note that Dogman’s territory does not seem to overlap with areas where they would be in direct competition with other apex predators such as Yellowstone and the American Grizzly bear, which would snack on a dogman. The spread and interbreeding of the american hog and the Eurasian boar would provide a ample food supply for Dogman as the pigs are spreading throughout the United States in vast numbers. Probably approaching the millions. Anything is possible. In the Everglades the Burmese python is breeding out of control and forest rangers are alarmed at their spread and threat to native species and they fear in the next 10 years the 25ft snake will be a reality.
So is Dogman possible? A resounding yes. Is he proven? Not yet. The story continues.

What if, for the sake of arguement, that i was to tell all of you this is true. That all the stories we heard as children are real. That there is really a creature moving in and out of our existance with the fluidity of water. Not that there is such a creature that moves in and out of our own time continuim.
The Ottawa, Chippewa, and Irequoise nations all have legends about how their is a kinship with the wolf. A mystical bonds between the Nations and this one animal. Of the exsistance of braves that take on the form of the Wolf and run with the packs. A mystical protector of the “People”, that roams the woods.
Stories like this are in all but a few of the Native American legends. My own nation has stories of mystical worriors that transform from Human to Wolf back to Human. When the need arises. Thats not to say that we’re dealing with a “Werewolf”, in the stricktest sense of the meaning. Most Native American legends have a factual basis and is considered in many circles of acedemia to be in fact true to an extent, in origin atleast.
Many people have infact talked about seeing a large primitive bird in the Southwest. ( Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, & Mexico) The Southwestern Native American tribes have legends about the Thunderbirds. Could there possibly be a hidden species of birds that on ocassion attack people and in some cases try to carry off our children.
Our own understanding of our world changes from day to day. We believed that the american Jaguar has been erraticated from the southwest since the turn of the century. But in recent years We found that not to be true. My own experiances have dictated that when Mexico has a bad droubt, that Jaguar’s migrate into Texas. I fisrt hand have seen this fact with my own 2 eyes when i was a boy of 12. A mother (spotted) with 2 cubs.(1 spotted and one black) Near the Nueces River in Uvalde County. In which case, if you were to talk to some of the older, (Now Elderly) Ranchers, They would tell you this is not an uncommon occurance.
The possibilty of there being a creature that resembles a half human, half Canine would bark (excuse the punt) relm of supernatural. Only you, as the reader, can answer that. I can only guide you some of the way,but the possibility is there.
